There’s nothing better than breaking the 4th wall! This website was my first endeavor into creating one location to store all of my previous projects, passions, and rationale behind their creation. As this is my first major coding project, I focused on learning how to get a base of code understanding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while also learning how to use AI effectively to help me build a better website.
As one of two editors, I helped co-lead a committee of ten designers over many months to design, write, and edit a yearbook designated to covering the 2025-2026 year of the Luddy Living Learning Center*. This not only included designing my own spreads, but also included leading team meetings, managing long and short term timelines for the project, and working with committee members to ensure each design met specific standards.
This is a two part newsletter dedicated to highlighting important events and gatherings that has taken place in the Luddy Living Learning Center* over the course of each semester. During the design process for this newsletter I facilitated design meetings, managed the project including setting and managing timelines as well as each team member’s responsibilities.
As my first experience getting to work on a design with other people, this is a promotional pamphlet for the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering that could be mailed to high school students. This design focused on clear communication of information, backed with small levels of detail for potential students to appreciate if they looked closer, especially those with pre-existing technical backgrounds which was our audience we wanted to target.
This is a cover I created for the Penn Harris Madison elementary school agenda planner that is given to all 4th and 5th grade students in the district (roughly 2000 copies). It was one of two designs selected in a yearly design competition and highlights all eleven of the school district’s elementary schools. For this design I focused on highlighting every elementary school and giving the cover a fun but academic feel.
These are logos I was commissioned to make for my high school’s student government, Kingsmen Court. For this project I focused on having a primary and secondary logo, and creating a logo that would work well with one color. I also focused on using existing branding from the school (like the outer shell of the primary logo) to show that the student government was part of the larger school’s structure.
This is a logo set I created for my high school’s esports team. The primary logo is based on our school’s unofficial logo and was altered to fit the esports theme in a subtle but noticeable way. For this I focused on keeping the existing multi colored logo with grey and gold, while providing additional logos with one color for additional printing if needed. Since its creation it has been used on jerseys and other apparel!
Working with my school’s administration I designed two door signs that vertically attach to the side of the door with magnets to highlight teachers who have won awards for their work. In this design I focused on how I could mesh the vertical layout of the sign, with text that required horizontal placement to fit in the sign.
These are logos I have created in my free time to fuel my desire to explore branding and logo design. One is a theoretical space flight company with primary and secondary logos as well as how said logos could be used on a business card. The other is a set of logos created for a gaming organization I founded with my friends which explores the ideas of what secondary text layouts look like when the original logo has integrated circular text.
